Colour
Activity 1 – Think Quick
1. Cut a primary and secondary colour wheel into the six sections of colour and glue each piece in the centre of an A4 page.
2. Split the class into six groups and give each a different colour marker.
3. Rotate the pages around the classroom, giving each group 1 minute with each page to write as many words associated with that colour that they can think of.
4. When finished, read through the brainstorms and discuss. Add any further ideas as they are presented and use the focus questions to guide learning.
5. Display the charts in the classroom for students to view when needed and add to when new ideas are thought of.

1. Using a projector display go through the colour as symbol and colour as emotion pages and discuss as a class. (Note: only show the students the image first and discuss this before moving onto the description as this helps to get them actively using their creative thinking skills.)
